A property collection will be taken at the close of both services on Sunday 1st March.

Kirk Session

There will be a meeting of the Kirk Session on Wednesday 11th February at 8.45pm following the Prayer Meeting.

Lochs Community Drop-in Event

The Consultations give everyone an opportunity to contribute ideas for forming Lochs Community Action Plans, taking in the three areas of North Lochs, Kinloch and Pairc.

The Action Plan(s) will be used to channel grant monies available, such as the Costal Community Fund (Crown Estate), for qualifying projects that sustain and develop services and facilities in our local communities in the months and years ahead.

The projects in our locality are being coordinated by the North Lochs Area Forum, under the auspices of CNES.

Our Church has benefited recently from receiving such grant monies (car park repairs, I T systems etc.), so we encourage our people to attend the drop-in event(s) and contribute to the formation of the North Lochs Action Plan.

Preaching Pathway Workshops

The next meeting of the Preaching Pathway will be on Monday 2nd March from 7pm – 9pm upstairs in the M.A. Hall, Kenneth St, Stornoway. These workshops are for all men currently involved, or interested in becoming involved, in preaching. All are welcome, even if you were unable to attend the previous workshops. (Future workshop dates are scheduled to be held on 20th April.)

Monthly Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting

The next Morning Prayer Meeting will take place on Saturday, 7th February, at 9.30am in the Church Hall. Tea and Coffee, and an opportunity for a short time of informal fellowship will follow immediately afterwards. All welcome.

Sound and Computer Help

We are in need of people to help assist with the sound and computer duties in the church, especially for funerals and any other week day services. Training and guidance will be provided. Without any volunteers for this important duty then services will not be streamed and microphones will not work during these week day services.
