WfM - Blythswood Shoebox Appeal
As a WfM we are again this year going to be collecting boxes for the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. The leaflets are available in the Church Foyer. Boxes need to be complete and a leaflet attached marked with the content of the box. The deadline for dropping them off at the Church or Church Hall will be Wednesday 29th October. Thank you.
Minister's Resignation
As intimated to those who were present on Wednesday evening, Rev. Calum Iain Macleod earlier this week tendered his resignation with immediate effect and this was accepted by the Presbytery. Rev Hugh Ferrier has been appointed as Interim Moderator for the period of vacancy and has been authorised to preach the congregation vacant today. We continue to pray for Mr Macleod and his family at this difficult time.

Interim Moderator
Rev Hugh Ferrier (Stornoway High Free Church) will continue to have pastoral responsibility for the congregation during the time of vacancy as Interim Moderator.
If anyone needs to get in touch with our Interim Moderator, Hugh Ferrier’s contact details are as follows:
Email: h121ferrier@googlemail.com
Home No: 01851 706788
Mobile No: 07981 082012
We are immensely grateful to Hugh Ferrier for agreeing to act as our Interim Moderator, and pray for him as he assumes this burden in addition to his existing responsibilities as minister of his own congregation.
Sound and Computer Help
We are in need of people to help assist with the sound and computer duties in the church, especially for funerals and any other week day services. Training and guidance will be provided. Without any volunteers for this important duty then services will not be streamed and microphones will not work during these week day services.
